The location is on Sumie Beach, recognized one of Japan’s “top 100 swimming spots,” in front of spacious, grassy lawns and tennis courts. A full complement of amenities lies nearby, including Beach Forest Sumie, cabins, an RV park, an aquarium and mini-golf. A landing with ferries to rock fishing and boat fishing is near at hand as well.

Pets are permitted in the terrace seating area.

Nobeoka favorites such as chicken Nanban (deep-fried chicken dressed with vinegar and tartar sauce) are popular items in this café run by a seasoned manager of set-meal restaurants and pubs in town. Enjoy a seafood barbecue in the garden.

Two accommodation suites are available in the guesthouse, with capacity for seven people.

This ideal location offers an authentic luxury barbecue experience, limited to one group per day.

Hot dogs can be ordered from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Barbecue is available from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (one group per day only, reservations required).

This guesthouse earns a sterling reputation for its cooking with lashings of seafood. Lunch guests are warmly welcomed. Fresh fish caught in fixed shore traps, Iwagaki oysters, and spiny lobster in fall are some of the delicious flavors on offer here.

You can even try your hand at dragnet fishing (recommendations required). Accommodations including two meals per day are available at ¥7,500 per adult and ¥5,500 per child.

Café and rental space

Operates as a café from May to October. On a beach washed by gentle waves, enjoy marine sports such as standup paddleboarding.

Two suites are available for accommodations, with capacity for six people.

Only the ground floor is available for rent. The second floor holds the offices of the Yagumi construction company.
